Description

Axial Seamount is the youngest volcano. Axial Volcano ascends 700 meters above the mean intensity of the ridge apex and is the most magmatic collaborator robust and seismically dynamic position on the Juan de Fuca Ridge. It represents the product of intense volcanic activity on the extensional field of the spreading center.
