AirAsia Flight QZ8501: Fuselage found at the bottom of the Java Sea

Indonesia AirAsia Flight QZ8501 carried 162 peoples with the crew are died, due to the bad weather pilots lost their contact with air traffic control.

And finally the plane crashed; so far they found 53 dead bodies, which 45 members have been identified.


With help of a military vessel, crews found the fuselage of the AirAsia plane at the bottom of the Java Sea, these photos taken by the search robot and also the slogan of the AirAsia plane “Now everyone can fly” (on one side of the plane).


Investigators are examining the black boxes i.e., data recorders between pilots, crew and air traffic control.

On Wednesday, crews found some of the wrecked parts of the crashed AirAsia flight QZ8501 underwater in the Java Sea and the plane carries 162 members including pilots and crew.

On Dec. 28.2014, AirAsia plane vanished due to bad weather. The Crew of AirAsia lost contact with air traffic control at 6:17 am (local time).


Indonesian search and rescue operations coordinator, Tatang Zainudin said “The search area for bodies and debris was expanded last week to allow for the strong currents that have been pushing debris around.”

Now search teams targeted to find the black boxes, which it makes easier to investigation. They provide essential data including the plane’s horizontal and vertical speeds along with engine temperature and also know the final conversations between the captain and co-pilot.


F. Henry Bambang Soelistyo, Chief of National Search and Rescue Agency, stated that yesterday is happiest and coolest day for getting the part of the plane underwater and it is the tail with the AirAsia mark on it.
