Deep sea fish live in water depths under 200m (656 feet) where light cannot reach. These creatures are some of the mainly mysterious in the world. According to NOVA's Into the Abyss, the water pressure increases through 14 pounds per square inch with every 32.8 feet in depth. While they are adapted to live below the phenomenal pressure of deep sea water, if they are brought up to the outside, they soon die.
